Golf Tournament Planning Meeting
Tuesday, September 2 at 5:30 is next Golf Tournament Planning Meeting in upstairs conference room.
Wednesday Adoration
Come spend some time with Christ. Every Wednesday from 7am – 7pm the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the church. This is a great opportunity for prayer, reading or just quiet peacefulness in the real presence of Jesus Christ.
If you intend to spend an hour, please sign-up. All are welcome, even if you only have five or ten minutes.
St. Vincent de Paul meeting
There will be a St. Vincent de Paul meeting on Thursday, September 4th at 7 PM upstairs in the media room. Childcare will be provided. Please come and bring a friend.
Ladies guild meeting
The next meeting of the ladies guild will be Tuesday, September 9th at 6:30 pm in Peaches Hall. Ladies, come on out! Meet your fellow parishioners, get involved in upcoming events and learn what the guild is all about.
The Senior's Lunch Bunch
The Senior's Lunch Bunch will meet Wednesday, September 10, for noon Mass at St. Paul's. Afterwards, we will eat at a new place, CAFFE TAZZA, 4815 Old Bullard Road. For more infor. call 903-894-7240. Catholic Senior Citizens welcome.
Late Nite Catechism 2
Late Nite Catechism 2. The world renown comedy show will be held here on Saturday, 27 September 2008 in Peaches Hall at 8:00 PM. There may be a Sunday afternoon matinee if ticket sales are sufficient. Cost is $40 per ticket which includes the show, heavy hors d'oevres, and beverages (beer, wine, and soft drinks). Free child care will be provided (reservations requested).
Men's ACTS Retreat.
Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service (ACTS) from St Matthew's Church in Longview will be having a men's retreat from 9 October thru 12 October at the Lone Star Baptist Encampment. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend (Fr. Kelly will be attending). Contact Milt Price (825-7080) for further information. A ladies retreat will be held in the Spring.
